The 23rd of April will be the date when Mikaela once again enter the ring to defend her World Super Welterweight title! Her opponent will be the former world champion Ivana Habazin, and they will clash together at Hovet, Stockholm.
Ivana Habazin has had 2 losses in 17 matches with 6 KO’s, one of the losses being against the Norwegian boxer Cecilia Braekhus. However she seems very confident that she can beat Mikaela and recently said in a press conference “Mikaela has very good physical predispositions, she trains well, but she doesn’t have the talent to match, and that’s visible in the ring.”
Mikaela with her 26 wins, 11 of them being KO’s is very happy with the opponent “Ivana is an incredible boxer, I’ve wanted to fight her for years and now I will be able to stand face to face with her in the ring, I will be the first boxer that knocks her out.”
At the same boxing gala, IBF Intercontinental Champion Erik Skoglund will battle against Ryno Liebenberg – in what promises to be the biggest boxing event in Sweden since the 1960s.
