Ministry of Finance press service has informed that the new deputy ministers of this resort will be Marian Banaś, Konrad Raczkowski and Leszek Skiba. Beata Szydło has decided to nominate the new appoitments following the request set by Minister Paweł Szałamacha.
Marian Banaś and Konrad Raczkowski received a nomination for Undersecretaries of State in the Ministry of Finance on Thursday. Additionally Marian Banaś has been appointed to be head of the Customs Service. The Customs Service in Poland keep authority of gambling industry.
Marian Banaś was already a deputy minister of finance and head of the Customs Service in the period of 2005-2008.
Konrad Raczkowski has a professor title and had been a manager in many public institutions. According to information on his website, he ” specializes in managing economic systems , public finances and unofficially economics”. He is the main director of the Economy Institute at the Social Economic Academy in Warsaw and a supervisor at the Economic Security Management department.
Leszek Skiba is an expert in political economy at the Sobieski Institute. Paweł Szałamacha was an chairman at the same Institute. The website of the institute earlier stated that Skiba worked at the Institute of Economics at the National Polish Bank
In the Sobieski Institute, future deputy minister deals with economical and political aspects of the reform in Poland and other European countries as well as the economic conditions in the area of euro currency.
