More than 54 million entries were submitted into last night’s EuroMillions game, which featured a Superdraw jackpot worth £71.3 million (€100 million) – the largest sum the game had seen since the last such draw in early June. While no player managed to land the top prize yesterday, millions of participants walked away as winners for matching some of the numbers drawn.
The winning line was 3, 17, 26, 38 and 40 with Lucky Stars 4 and 10. Eight players, three of whom were from the UK, matched five main numbers and one Lucky Star to grab £252,642 (€328,233) each, with another 15 ticket holders each winning £44,914 (€58,352) after matching the five main numbers drawn. The remaining 4.1 million prize winners received amounts worth between £3.00 (€3.90) for matching two main numbers and £3,402 (€4,420) for matching four main numbers and one Lucky Star.
Players also did well in the supplementary games, with a UK participant grabbing £1 million after matching the winning Millionaire Maker code of LPR317686 and a French ticket holder bagging €1 million on My Million after matching the code of BM3372109. An Irish participant in the south of the country pocketed a cool €500,000 on EuroMillions Plus after matching the five numbers drawn. The UK had by far and away the most successful evening as 993,895 players picked up a combined £6.4 million. Another 876,164 French participants shared €6.3 million, while 719,843 Spanish ticket holders split €5.7 million in prizes.
On Tuesday 10th November, EuroMillions will return with a rollover jackpot worth an estimated £80 million (€111 million). If you missed out on the big one this past Friday, now’s the time to buy tickets or join a lottery syndicate – with this much money on the line, you could stand to pick up a serious payout right before Christmas. Imagine trading in the tins of Celebrations and value-brand puddings for a festive shop at Harrods, all thanks to a EuroMillions win.
